First time buyer from Duluth. Saw hat while looking for FH Jac Shirt. Gave it a try and absolutely love. Bought one for son too. Warm but not hot and does not get itchy.

            Say it with me: "Touque."

            COMMENTS:

I'm not sure why folks in the US are so afraid of the word touque. I see these things get called knit caps, stocking caps, knit stocking caps, longshoreman caps, and even beanies! Well, the Canadian word toque is a beautiful word (pronounce like "tewk"), it's only one syllable, and it will never be confused with any headgear bearing a propeller.

So yeah... This is a pretty awesome touque. It's soft and light-weight, yet it's incredibly warm. The boiled wool keeps out the wind, and it sticks pretty securely to ye olde noggin'. It comes down low enough on my head (size M/L, and I have a HUGE head) to cover my ears entirely, and while that will come in handy in Wisconsin's winters, I do sort of wish from a style perspective it maybe didn't come down quite so far.

The make of the touque means that the Duluth logo can be worn anywhere you please -- front, side, other side, almost all the way to the back, back, wherever! -- without affecting the look or fit of the touque itself.

Stuffs nicely into a coat pocket when not in use.

So yeah, buy it, wear it, and don't be afraid to call it what it is: a touque.

I work on conctruction everyday in Alaska and it gets cold here pretty fast and early and this is the first hat that I don't have to mess around with much when I'm working . It's a great hat that's all that needs to be said
