Liked the hat! Sorry to see it go into the lake! Even more sorry not be able to recover the hat. It blew of in a 35 MPH gust into a golf course reclaimed water lake that was deep. I did not want to venture in for a try at recovery. Great hat but not worth the unknown reclaimed water lake hazard. After all, no 2 stroke penalty for losing your hat.

Even though I've lived in the desert for many years, my Nordic skin color means I have to use lots of sun screen and a hat. Most hats I've worn were hot and the sweat would show around the hat band. This hat stays cooler all the time. I think it might leave the head kind of cold during the winter, but in the summer its perfect.
