From the shipping box to my head was the only part of buying this hat that was fun.
The hat is "Fixed" when it comes to size. It is strictly a medium! My head size is 23" and this would still be tight on a person with a 21" head diameter. When I had the hat on, it felt like it was a size or two, to small. Loosening the adjustment strap did nothing.
The adjustment strap does not allow for the hat to become larger or smaller as was described by a representative of Duluth. To attempt to make this hat larger by loosening the adjustment strap just makes the strap longer and form a "loop" at the back of the hat. There is no "enlarging" of the hat diameter. Duluth has to offer the hat not just in M/L size but a full L and XL.
Although it is a fun, neat, cute idea, it will become a dust collector in the closet because of the ill fit. I returned the hat to Duluth.

This hat is made to last! The firehose material and the quality construction of the cap made this both a fun and practical buy for me. I really enjoy wearing this during the holiday season.

Purchased this as a Christmas gift for my boyfriend. He loves the hat and wishes I hadn't waited until Christmas Eve to give it to him! Constructed very well and he reports it's very comfortable!

I wear caps year round and at Christmas I have worn a traditional Santa's hat when possible. The Santa's Ball Cap let's me do both at the same time. It certainly enhanced the fun that usually surrounds the Christmas holidays. Next year I'll start wearing it right after Thanksgiving.

I like the santa hat because it is durable and fashionable to wear everyday. It works well outdoors when hanging the christmas lights to shoveling snow. The headband makes if comfortable to wear for long periods of time and the firehose material takes a beating when the elves get uppity. I have had a great number of folkes ask me where I got the hat. Maybe you could make the hat in flannel too?
