I haven't worn a cap in years for commuting or business purposes but tried this. I am very pleased with the warmth it has added.
It is comfortable, looks fine and is a little classier than the baseball cap which was my other option.

Foe men with extra large head finding a hat with the proper fit can be frustrating. I wanted a hat to keep the Oregon rain off my head and didn't care if it lookied good. This hat does both, it keeps the rain drops from falling on my head and it looks great. I haven't tried it in extreme cold yet but I will update the comment when I do. Great buy!

Wow! What a great looking cap for winter. Looks as good with jeans as a suit. This cap is very warm, but because it is wool, you won't overheat when you go inside.

Warm down to the ears and sheds some light precipitation as well. Just ordered the summer companion hat. Great for cab driving or out-and-about!

Hat feels great and is perfectly warm for chilly days, but unfortunately the fit isn't quite right. Unlike the Duluth Oil Cloth Driving Hat I got at the same time, this hat isn't deep enough. It sits too high on my head with the snaps closed, and I always feel like it's about to fall off. Because of this, I don't wear it as much as I'd like to. It's a stylish hat and it breathes much better than the oil cloth version, but because of the odd fit (and the slightly odd look it has with the snaps undone), I only wear it when it gets really cold. Besides the fit, it's an excellent hat, but I wish they'd fix that one issue.
