Leather Fingerless Work Gloves

I started wearing deerskin driving gloves in the late 60's. When it was time to order a replacement, ($165.00 for a decent pair...and good for 2-3 years at best), I noticed these fingerless gloves in the latest DTC catalog. LOTS of features...on sale for FAR less than the Italian leather! I soon discovered a comfort level far beyond what I had been paying big bucks for over many years. Stylish as well! Wish I had know about these sooner. They look and feel as though they'll last forever. DTC does it again!

I am an Action Designer/Cooridinator for stage and screen and a homesteader living off the grid as best I can.
I go through gloves on a monthly basis. Need my fingers free for screws and detail work. planting, milking etc.
These are tough good with water and also good grip for holding a sword. When the occassion happens which is daily.

I work grounds maintenance in Oklahoma and we have had record heat again this summer and the gloves remain comfortable. I use them to operate everything from hand tools to heavy equipment. I got a cut in my right glove from a sharp object. It did not penetrate thus saving me a huge gash in the palm of my hand. I have already recommended them to my fellow workers.

These were a gift to my Dad and he told me they are the best gloves he has ever used! Ordering and shipping to him were efforless as well.

I work part-time as a climbing instructor at a Boy Scout camp and needed gloves that would protect my hands from rope burns, but allow me the dexterity to tie and untie knots. These fingerless gloves are ideal for what I needed. The gloves cover up to the first knuckle of my fingers, which gives me maximum coverage while leaving enough open finger to do what needs done. I've also been using them to do yard work at home and the leather holds up quite nicely. However, the last pair of gloves I owned had a nice patch of cloth for wiping sweat off my face. I do miss that feature in the Duluth gloves. My previous gloves also got holes in them pretty quickly. I don't see that happening any times soon with the quality materials and construction used in the Duluth gloves.

I bought these gloves for my husband, but was helping him out in the yard one day and found myself using them while trimming some branches on my crape myrtle and they were really great for the job! You can pick things up so much easier than if you were wearing a regular work glove. I just love them.

I'm a professional wood worker, I work on a saw many hours a day. Needed something to keep from getting cut on sharp edges and splinters. Received these gloves the friday before mothers day, within a week the leather had holes in it.Within two weeks the seams were splitting. Don't waste your money on these gloves, they won't last.

use these gloves while driving. I have diabetes and they take the strain off my fingers.

I have been wearing these gloves to split firewood and while roofing the house. Perfect for both.
