My first Duluth purchase. OK, but not great. Fit is not what I'd like, and it's not at all adjustable, so a definite minus. Guess my head is an "in-between" size, because the hat is almost too big, yet the next smaller size would be too small. Given the otherwise sturdy construction, the flimsy tie strings are almost laughable. More important, they're impractical. Not nearly long enough to tie with gloves on, and not strong enough to survive much rough handling. There are FAR better systems for holding the ear flaps up against the ears when it's windy. As it is, facing a headwind, the cold air blows easily under the ear flaps unless the tie strings are tight enough to leave marks on my jaw. Bottom line – I don't want to have to tie knots when it's cold enough that I'm wearing gloves.
Service and delivery comments:
Prompt delivery, hat arrived in good condition. Haven't needed customer service.
I am so pleased with this hat, I ordered a 2X for my rather large noggin and it actually runs a little big! I am so tired of hats that say XL or 2Xl and wouldn't fit a tennise ball. Very well made and warm. I can now channel Elmer Fudd with impunity!

This is a great cap. It's warm and the fold down berber lined flaps cover your ears and neck. They tie down so the cap won't come off even in a strong wind. It would probably be a little more user friendly with hook & loop fasteners on a strap instead of leather ties, but I can live with the ties and they add to the retro look. You can even machine wash it. Bottom line is that I love this cap.

I made this purchase mainly because Duluth offered it in sizes. Finding a comfortable hat to fit my head, 7 3/4, is a core in itself. I was very pleased, first with the hats fit and second with it's warmth. all that combined with a great look makes this hat a keeper for my cold weather outdoor adventures. Well done Duluth!

Bought this hat for my dad, and he absolutely loves it. Its nice and warm, covers his ears, and keeps the winter sun out of his eyes. Fits great, as well.

when I look for a good hat my first concern is fit. My normal hat size is 7 3/4 so if I can find something that looks good, has functional value and will work for my needs I'll take the risk and go for it. Well I must say this hat is a winner in all areas. It fits perfect, the quailty is there and it looks great!
Well done Duluth!
I live in the Columbia River Gorge and the winter east winds can gust up to 80 mph. I play winter golf and regular baseball caps will blow off and don't protect the ears. I can bend over the ball and not worry about my hat taking off.
