I used it on a cold weather day. the hat warm your head and ear. I think the shape of the hat is not well made because the rim around the hat too flat looking.

I wear this when is very cold,and it keeps me really warm besides i have my ear's all covered.I do love it.

I liked this hat a lot, but ended up returning it because of several reasons... It was VERY warm. But couple that with the fact that I ordered 1 size too small, instant headache! It was too tight. I chose to return rather than exchange because it was a very bulky hat. (not something I am used to)
Looked kinda dorky.
I live in California, Doesn't get THAT cold ever here. Hat was a bit overkill.
Prolly woulda kept it or exchanged for larger size if I lived in colder climate.

GREAT PRODUCT! TOUGH, WATER RESISTANT, SIZED SLIGHTLY LARGE SO THAT THE SIZE XXL FITS MY XXXL HEAD. MUCH LESS EXPENSIVE THAN MOST HATS OF THIS SIZE AND QUALITY.

I needed a hat to wear when taking my puppy outside for walks. I needed warmth for winter and a visor to keep the sun out of my eyes. This is the perfect solution. It reminds my wife of the hat her Dad always wore. The old ways were the best. I am very happy with this hat. I am not a fashion guy, but this looks alot better than a stocking cap. If it gets warmer like this winter, I can just flip up the ear flaps. Great answer to my needs.
