Dry on the outside, sweating on inside!

        By Billy

        from Roanoke, VA

        Verified Buyer

        Pros

        • Freedom of movement
        • Great Fit
        • Keeps rain out

        Cons

        • No ventilation
        • Soaked From Sweat

        Best Uses

        • From Car To Building
        • From House To Car

The great thing about this rain jacket is that it does keep the rain out and it fits great & I love the freedom of movement in the arms. The thing I hate about it, it does not breathe & ventilate so it feels like you are in a sweatbox. I was dry from the pouring rain but soaked from sweating inside. If they can provide ventilation to this rain jacket you will have a awesome product. Otherwise, all it is good for is to go from your front door to the car.

              Husband Loves It!

              By Mrs. Longears

              • There are none

              Best Uses

My husband is outside a lot in the winter and this jacket, along with your rain pants, is exactly what he needs to stay dry. I ordered a bigger size so the jacket and pants can be put over other clothing when it is really cold.

                • Didn't purchase sooner

                Best Uses

Well constructed. Heavy weight so ideal for spring and fall.....probably too much for a summer rain jacket.

                  Good enough for occasional use

                  Pros

                  • Looks great
                  • Lots of pockets
                  • Nice loose fit

                  Cons

                  • Needs A Mesh Liner

                  Best Uses

Bought it for myself for the rare rainstorm here. Lack of a mesh liner may make it a bit too warm for the north Texas humidity. Looks great, like the style as much as the utility.

I like the jacket because it is made for really wet weather and the zipper underneath the arms will cool me off on humid days.

                          Keeps you wet

                          By Kelly

                          Pros

                            Cons

                            • Hood
                            • Leaks

                            Best Uses

I work outside and depend on good rain gear. The outer jacket shell allows water to sit on it without running off, then it sinks into the lower layers to then leak into the jacket leaving you feeling damp even in a light rain.

The hood is also attached and cannot be taken off meaning you have to wear it or risk water running into the jacket through the neck. (I like to wear a hat, not a hood).

                              • Rainy days

The jacket was purchased as rain wear. Normally well made and durable products, this Duluth jacket fell short of the mark. In putting it on, it felt like the yellow raincoats that we wore in the early 1960's - very sticky and not able to breathe. I was hesitatant in purchasing it at the $100+ cost, but felt that if it was as expected, then it would be a worthwhile investment. It was not and I subsequently returned it.
