I drive a fuel oil truck delivering fuel oil and kerosene to houses and businesses. The colder it gets the more I am out in it. Weather it is rain sleet, snow or just plain bitter cold I am out in it 10 to 12 hours a day. This coat took everything I could put it through without a hitch. It is a very comfortable coat to wear all day. I cannot take it off 20 to 30 times a day everytume I get back in the truck. The lined pockets or great and all the pockets it has are just right. The handiest pocket not found on most coats is the slot for a ink pen on the breast pocket. Washes up great too. Due to the nature of my job getting the end of the sleeves black with fuel oil and dirt is a regular thing. It washes right up.

Im a photographer , I wear this jacket everwhere , knocking around junk yards , in the scrub , in the car , down town , everywhere . The pockes fit the junk I carry , phone , smaller lenses , batteries .. havent lost anything yet .
the water resist has saved my stuff a few times with the changeable weather , its one thing to have $1200 of gear jammed into pockets but when the rain comes down, its totally worth it several times over to keep the gear dry so I can keep on working instead of going home and hoping insurance covers it

I got this jacket for my 70yr old hard working dad at Christmas. He is a rancher/farmer/ mechanic/ contractor, everything!!!!! He has worn carhart my whole life and as he gets older I notice he has a hard time moving around like he used to although don't get me wrong he doesn't look a day over 55. I wanted something he could work a cold central Oregon winter without layering a ton and having the ability to move as much as possible without jacket restraint. He got exactly that. He loves the jacket raves about it all the time. I couldn't be happier!! Thank you Duluth!!!

I bought 1 of these coats about 6 years ago, and another for my son the following year. Even though I've torn the outer layer with Barbed wire, and Tree Stands, it's still warm. I wear this coat with a light hoodie, and coveralls in single digit weather to keep warm. Now it's time to buy another one.

Quality good, fit not so much

This runs small. Went by the fit guide, as well as the product description stating it has a roomy fit for layering. I'm not a heavyset guy at all. 6'3", 180 lbs with a 34-36" waist. So I went with a Large Tall. Big mistake. with anything more than a t-shirt under it, the jacket that I was so excited to get today can barely zip.

While I can't really wear the thing, I can tell by looking at it and handling it that it is a very high quality jacket, and I will absolutely be looking to get one in a size that works for me. The debate now is XL or XXL.

This is a great jacket. I need to layer with it if extremely cold. I wish it had a neck adustment strap for close up and I hook the sleeve snaps on stuff and undo them. I think it needs larger sleeve snaps or a redesign. Love the jacket. Use it mostly for hunting and the relaxed fit help me shoulder the gun.

I was looking for a warm, durable waistline jacket for my husband, he owns and operates his own tractor trailer and delivers concrete pipe to construction sites - he needed something warm, but something easy to remove while driving - he just loves this jacket, he uses it along with Carhart bibs and said from the waist up he was totally warm. The gusseted armpits and elbows on this jacket make for easy movement. Customer service at Duluth is top notch. The original jacket had a bad zipper, they replaced the jacket immediately. I'll be shopping for more items in the future

                        • Mostly For Work

Let me start out by saying that I have been greatly impressed by every item I have purchased from Duluth, and this jacket is no different! I got this jacket a couple of months ago and, being in Oklahoma, it doesn't get near as cold as some places up north; however, we still do have some very frigid mornings! And this jacket has been so awesome for those mornings! There's only one negative (And it's really not a big deal) thing that I can say about this jacket, and it is that the glove pockets on the back of the jacket are a little hard for me to reach, comfortably. All-around great jacket though! Thanks Duluth!
