Men's Sizing Charts

Head:

Measure around head, just above eyebrows. Convert inches to hat size using sizing chart.

Sleeve:

Measure from center of back at neck to shoulder, over elbow and down to wrist.

Tradesman Sizing:

Our clothing is generously sized for extra roominess and easy moving fit. No need to size up.

Neck:

Measure around the middle of the neck (at the Adam's apple).

Waist:

Bend side to side to find natural waist. Measure around waist.

Chest:

Keeping tape parallel to the floor, measure fullest part of chest with arms relaxed down at sides.

Inseam:

Measure a pair of pants that fit you well. Measure from the crotch seam to bottom of pants. If you are measuring 100% cotton pants that have been washed, add 1⁄2".

Great All-around Jacket

My husband was looking at this jacket for awhile so I surprised him with it for his birthday. It's exactly what he wanted and roomy enough to wear over a sweater or sweatshirt. Would definitely buy another one!

Too Heavy For Its Purpose

This jacket, though well made and true-to-fit, was very heavy (about 3-1/2 lbs) for an uninsulated coat. It looked like it would wear like iron, but since I wanted something lighter for a three-season jacket, I decided I would get little use out of it. Also, the snaps on the chest pockets were a bit much. Though I liked the roomy shoulders, I thought overall that the coat looked more like it was styled for the PRC Army rather than a variant of a US Army fatique jacket. I returned it.

Was workin on a board walk, post Sandy storm (long island,south shore) this winter. Gets colder than the 9th level out there & this jacket work'd GREAT ! Good for layer'n if u all make 1 with that berber fleece like the vest let me know i'll buy it !

I bought an earlier version of this jacket and was disappointed when it was no longer in the catalog. When the longer model showed up I bought one right away in a different color. My wife likes the longer look better.
Works well on cool and windy day. Room for vest of sweater if it gets colder.

Was always fond of my field jacket from the US Army (about the only thing I was fond of then) and have recently been looking to buy one for general use in late fall and mild winter days. This jacket comes close to a military field jacket, vintage 1970. However, the fabric is stiff. I hope use will soften it up some. Since it is heavy cotton, it will never be as pliable as the old field jackets were.
