Men's Sizing Charts

Head:

Measure around head, just above eyebrows. Convert inches to hat size using sizing chart.

Sleeve:

Measure from center of back at neck to shoulder, over elbow and down to wrist.

Tradesman Sizing:

Our clothing is generously sized for extra roominess and easy moving fit. No need to size up.

Neck:

Measure around the middle of the neck (at the Adam's apple).

Waist:

Bend side to side to find natural waist. Measure around waist.

Chest:

Keeping tape parallel to the floor, measure fullest part of chest with arms relaxed down at sides.

Inseam:

Measure a pair of pants that fit you well. Measure from the crotch seam to bottom of pants. If you are measuring 100% cotton pants that have been washed, add 1⁄2".

I wear it as my everyday jacket and with the extended spring in Minnesota it has come in very handy. It is comfortable and fits very well. I like all of the pockets, especially the zippered chest pocket; my checkbook fits perfectly in there so I do not have to worry about loosing it. I am old school and just want a jacket that fits and wears well, I found it. Also, I really like it that I do not look like everyone else in the crowd with their trendy name brands. The double zipper does hang up once in a while.

I will be purchasing another one of a different color in the fall.

I'm rough on clothing and don't have a big budget so I needed a single coat that was waterproof, windproof, lightweight, warm enough for cold NY winters, yet not too heavy that I had to put it away during spring and fall and so far the Shoreman's fleece is everything I wanted.

Ibought this jacket in my normal size and had to return it for a size smaller. I wish there wasn't a charge for sending items back when you are replacing with the correct size.I enjoyed wearing this jacket as a grab and go beating around coat.

Best fleece going but could improve

The good:
I'm 5'8", 160 and the medium is perfect fit. Just close enough at the bottom and roomy enough in the body. Sleeves come down just below the wrist. A bit long for some but I like a little extra so they don't ride up when you stretch your arms. I have several premium brand fleece jackets and this material is superior to all. Yes, it does block the wind and it's warm. Very well constructed. Chest zip pocket is nice size as are the hand warmer pockets.
The bad:
Sleeve pocket is pretty much worthless. Just wide enough to barely squeeze in an iPhone 5 but too short for the flap to close once you get it in there. I can't think of any current cell phones that would fit except some of the very smallest and you would miss the call before you could dig it out. Can't think of any other use for this pocket. Inside zip chest pocket is a great idea but in the wrong place. Both outside and inside chest pockets stacked on top of each other; think 2 wallets stacked in single back pocket. Would have been perfect if the inside pocket had been placed on the other side. Can't imagine whose idea this was.
Overall, I still rate it the best and I'm keeping it and might even consider another.

my intentions were to wear this jacket to work as a remodeling contractor but after wearing it for two weeks prior to using it for work the inside of the cuffs at the wrist have loose threads and are pilling.

What a great jacket/coat. keeps me nice and warm in high wind and cold. the only beef i had with it is the sleeve cuffs aren't capable of being tightened. i fixed this myself by with some elastic cord and now its great.

otherwise a superb coat, great quality of workmanship.
