Men's Sizing Charts

Head:

Measure around head, just above eyebrows. Convert inches to hat size using sizing chart.

Sleeve:

Measure from center of back at neck to shoulder, over elbow and down to wrist.

Tradesman Sizing:

Our clothing is generously sized for extra roominess and easy moving fit. No need to size up.

Neck:

Measure around the middle of the neck (at the Adam's apple).

Waist:

Bend side to side to find natural waist. Measure around waist.

Chest:

Keeping tape parallel to the floor, measure fullest part of chest with arms relaxed down at sides.

Inseam:

Measure a pair of pants that fit you well. Measure from the crotch seam to bottom of pants. If you are measuring 100% cotton pants that have been washed, add 1⁄2".

Comments about Duluth Trading Shop Coats - Men's Fire Hose Chore Shop Coat:

I'd looked high and low for a chore coat and was about to give up when I came across Duluth Trading. My brother has talked up Duluth's clothing for years to me, and here I found exactly the coat I had been looking for. Built from tough firehose canvas, the coat is hardy as one could expect. Yet after the first washing the fabric was flexible and comfortable. It's classy enough to wear with khakis, and strong enough to crawl under the truck in. All the pockets are a wonder! My only problem is remembering all the stuff I've tucked into the coats many corners. There's certainly a pocket for everything you might wish to carry, and then some you hadn't thought of. Now all I need is a deep winter version of this coat and I'll be set for life. Thanks Duluth!

Lot of Pocket Hype

Over all this is a good jacket that could be better. There are too many pockets that are too small...you cannot even put a case for sun glasses into the chest pocket or any of the interior pockets in a vertical position. Single larger slash pockets in front instead of the stacked vertical and horizontal arrangement would work better...gloves barely fit in either, nor do your hands...forget it if you have big paws!!! And forget about a pocket for lots of dog biscuits for your K9, you would need to use an interior pocket, and that's not handy!!!. Once you do put stuff into the pockets, the coat gets tight and uncomfortable when you button up...it justs seems small...

Great looking Jacket. Has plenty of pockets, and lightweight. Gave this jacket to my son-in-law whom is a fire fighter and he loves it. He hasn't had a chance to wear it in cooler weather yet but he is excited about it.

Great three season jacket

This jacket is well made, functional (with many helpful pockets), and very comfortable. I love the heavy, firehose cotton. It breathes in a way that no synthetic can, yet it still provides excellent protection from the elements.

Some other color choices might be nice.

Great Coat

I'm an Auto Appraiser. This coat is great for me. I don't have to worry about it getting ripped or stained crawling under a car. With all the pockets I always have my phone, Camera, Flashlight, Pens and my I-pod handy.

Chore coat works for me

Not too heavy, not too light. A good coat for work around the yard and woods. Tight weave on fire hose material is great. Too soon to comment on long term durability. I sprayed with silicon water proffing and water beads up and rolls off.

Love my Chore Coat

Velcro Pocket closures

I love it especially the inside pockets. The only thing that I would change (and I did on mine) is to reverse the way that the velcro is attached. The soft side should be on the pocket and the ridged side on the tab. This way if the tab is left open it will not snag a knit golf shirt. This is a small gripe and will not keep me from ordering another one IF this one ever wears out.
