I was looking for a hat to wear when I'm out hiking that can really shade the sun out of my eyes and also my neck. My first thought was the mesh crusher hat, but wanted to be able to wear something when it gets cold as well. This hat has kept my head cool in the warm weather by shading the sun away, and the wool material has kept my head warm in the cold weather. It's the best hat I've bought. Well made, great looks, and it's comfortable. The black was out of stock when I purchased my dark brown one, but now that it's back in stock, I may need to place another order...

This hat is the first of it's type that I've purchased. I usually wear baseball caps. The hat is comfortable, looks good, and holds its shape well.

I wear a hat all the time and this is by far the most comfortable hat I have ever owned. It is very durable even though the wool is a little hard to clean. The crusher part is awesome as it always returns to shape. Sit on it, or pack it in a suitcase and it still looks great. I loved the brown one so much that I bought the black one for dress up situations.

I have been looking for a packable hat of this nature for quite a while. This one fills the bill and looks good.
Having bought the brown version of this hat a little over a year ago I was very pleased to see it now available in black. I ordered a black one in the same size as my brown one, a large. The black hat arrived and to my disappointment found that it was a "larger" Large than my brown hat. I have returned the black large to exchange it for a Medium. I know the Medium will fit because I ordered a black Medium for a friend with my original order. I tried it on before giving it to him and it fit great. The discrepancy in sizing across colors is the only reason I can't give this product five stars.

I ordered this hat for my son for Christmas, he had previously had two of the original crusher hats...he loves them they look good on him, and he does not have to be very particular with them. I think he is going to wear this one when he goes to church.....looks very stylish.
