Men's Sizing Charts

Head:

Measure around head, just above eyebrows. Convert inches to hat size using sizing chart.

Sleeve:

Measure from center of back at neck to shoulder, over elbow and down to wrist.

Tradesman Sizing:

Our clothing is generously sized for extra roominess and easy moving fit. No need to size up.

Neck:

Measure around the middle of the neck (at the Adam's apple).

Waist:

Bend side to side to find natural waist. Measure around waist.

Chest:

Keeping tape parallel to the floor, measure fullest part of chest with arms relaxed down at sides.

Inseam:

Measure a pair of pants that fit you well. Measure from the crotch seam to bottom of pants. If you are measuring 100% cotton pants that have been washed, add 1⁄2".

The shorts are roomy and well constructed. The fabric is tough but comfortable when it starts to get warm. I like the pocket layout for keeping small items handy, but out of the way.

I really like this pair of shorts. They are nearly perfect. The material is durable, as promised. I love it! If these are the thinner ones, the thick ones would be too much for me. We live in Vegas, so they'd be WAY too hot. These will be too hot for the dead of summer, but good the rest of the year.

The front pockets are a bit shallow. Sometimes stuff falls out while I'm moving around, up and down a lot. But, there are GREAT back pockets and the one pouch pocket on the left side. You should probably put your phone in there if you don't use it a lot, so it doesn't fall out.

These are TOUGH shorts. They'll last for years. I wish they were made in the USA, but they're not. But Vietnam is better than China IMHO.

Oh, the stretchy waist thing is good, but it's almost TOO much stretch. If I don't wear a belt they will fall right off. I may return them and get one size below the one I really wear, so they fit better. We'll see.

BUT, I love the company and the product line is right up my alley. I will be a repeat customer for life. The products cost a little more, but you DO get your money's worth. You will not be replacing stuff every year or 6 months like with the stuff at the discount stores. These folks are the real deal.

I got these after nearly soaking through another pair of shorts working a farmers' market. The next week I was set, much more comfortable and I now have pockets galore. I really like the pocket in the left cargo pocket, it nicely secures my phone even in it's big case. The Velcro to keep the cargo flap in place in the pocket is nice for easily accessing the pocket. The elastic waist is a nice detail that took a little while to get used to. I have large thighs for my waist, but after a few weeks and washes, the 34s fit fine, I do wish there were half sizes or slightly more room available in the legs. Another great product from Duluth, just ordered my second pair.

I have several pairs of the fire hose pants but they are too hot for the summer. I decided to try the quick dry fire hose shorts to see if they are cooler. I like everything about them but the only thing is there should be a smaller waist size. Other than that they are great.
