I'm a long-time satisified user of your pants and shorts. My closet is full of your fire-hose pants (five pocket jeans-lined and unlined, logger's pants, etc), ballroom jeans, cargo shorts, and work shorts.
All have been perfect in design, features, and construction...until now! The Dry-on-the-Fly pants and shorts have one FATAL flaw; all seams are double-stitched instead of your usual triple-stitching. I purchased 2 Dry-on-the-Fly pants and 1 Dry-on-the-Fly pair of shorts. The stitching in the crotch unraveled upon first use. I returned them and Duluth replaced them. The replacements failed the same way. My wife added triple stitching because I love the pants. This construction flaw needs to be corrected. You are admired and respected because of your uncompromising devotion to quality; please don't change.

These would be the perfect hot weather long pants, if not for excessive shrinkage. One trip through the washer and dryer and these ended up too short for me (and I bought the longest inseam, which was a perfect length BEFORE washing). Please make these "pre-shrunk" and/or 36 inseam! I didn't even think nylon would shrink! My "recommended" bottom line has a caveat - only to someone with short legs that can over-order on the length!

        Sizes are off

        By Jwall

The sizes are way off. I bought a XL first and they were falling off me and I tried to return them but you all wouldn't take them back because I tried them on. So I ate it and bought L and those are skin tight. So XL are huge and L are drastically smaller

        Dry on Fly Pants

Received just prior to a trip to Canada. Wore 3 days, could have worn longer. Loved the fit, feel, and comfort.

Was disappointed that the seat seam thread was unraveling after that light duty (mostly on a bus!). Have to get repaired BEFORE it splits.

                Great Pants!

                By Swiss lad!

                Pros

                  Cons

                    Best Uses

I am using the pants for both casual as well as dressy. Had them on a recent trip and they were most versatile. Survived a sudden rain storm without a problem! Also especially like the side zippers on cargo pockets. Makes for easy retrieval of larger smart phones when seated. As a matter of fact, I purchased another pair immediately.

One small suggestion would be to make one of the side pocket deeper so you can slide a pair of eyeglasses with a case in there.
                      Your loyal customer!!

                      Thinner that expected

                      By Beau the Pepper Rancher

                      Pros

                      • Nicely Made And Fit Well

                      Cons

                      • All The Zips Are Wimpy

                      Best Uses

All the zips are mickey-mouse plastic and rather small. The front hip pockets are a little too shallow so that losing something out of them is a risk. Over all, the material is too light weight to afford reasonable abrasion protection. About twice as thick would make a satisfactory pant. However it is nice and soft but not the garment that I was expecting as I can get 5 pair of blue jeans at a local vendor for the same money. They only thing I see is that Duluth Trading is the only place you can get a nylon pant of any type. If you want nylon, this is your only choice.
