Men's Sizing Charts

Head:

Measure around head, just above eyebrows. Convert inches to hat size using sizing chart.

Sleeve:

Measure from center of back at neck to shoulder, over elbow and down to wrist.

Tradesman Sizing:

Our clothing is generously sized for extra roominess and easy moving fit. No need to size up.

Neck:

Measure around the middle of the neck (at the Adam's apple).

Waist:

Bend side to side to find natural waist. Measure around waist.

Chest:

Keeping tape parallel to the floor, measure fullest part of chest with arms relaxed down at sides.

Inseam:

Measure a pair of pants that fit you well. Measure from the crotch seam to bottom of pants. If you are measuring 100% cotton pants that have been washed, add 1⁄2".

Comments about Men's Supplex Shorts - Ultralights Shorts:

I bought these shorts to use for hiking, biking, backpacking, etc. I liked the idea that they would dry very quickly because I'm a sweaty dude when I'm exercising, and some of my excursions end up taking me through the water.

Pros - They're very basic in their styling. They would match with anything. The 9'' model is a classic length. Not too long, not too short. Although I haven't really put them to the test yet, I can tell that they will in fact dry as quickly as any piece of clothing possibly could. They feel like a swim-suit, but even lighter. They weigh nothing.

Cons - I was encouraged by the crotch gusset. I thought that they would give me plenty of freedom of movement. They don't. They restrict my movement quite a bit in the hips. They fit fine. They're roomy in the waist and in the butt, but around my thighs they're a bit tight unless I pull them way up around my belly button. If I crouch in them the crotch seam pulls taught, and I have to slide the legs up to get the rest of the way down. For this reason, they would be annoying to use in my yoga classes, and it might be a little irritating to try and swing my leg on and off my cyclocross bike. The fabric is extremely thin and light-weight. We'll see how durable they are over time.

Great for boating

We are often boating or kayaking and have to get in and out of the boats which usually means getting wet somewhat. These pants dry quickly so we don't have to have a wet butt all day long. They are durable and stand up to any abuse that we give them.

Not same size as previous order

A previous. blue, set fit perfectly. They were comfortable and useful. Altho sizes ordered are exactly the same, this set was much tighter in the thigh. Side by side you can see the difference. Altho a great idea and wonderful when they are sized correctly, the shorts are not consistant.

Tight in the thighs

We purchased 2 of these one for me and one for my husband. We really like everything except they are a bit tight in the legs so not comfortable if you need to sit for awhile. Otherwise, they wash well and look nice.
