All the features of our DuluthFlex Fire Hose® Carpenter Pants, in the same midweight 8-oz. Fire Hose canvas packing good abrasion resistance. 3% spandex gives you comfortable flex for job site contortions. Prewashed for softness and with a FendOff™ finish to repel rain and stains. Hidden Crouch Gusset® so nothing infringes on your “personal space” as you crouch low on the job. Seven pockets, including mid-leg utility pockets. Plus reinforcing rivets at pressure points, triple-stitched seams and fray-fighting double-layer cuffs. 4" wide back belt loop keeps pants from gapping when you bend over.

I bought two pairs, the khaki and the blue.
Both were a little too small until I washed them, now the khaki fits perfectly.
The blue ones are a little tight, but not too bad.
It's so nice to actually have "SHORTS" again!
I hate the trend of everything reaching below your knees.
These were quite expensive, but I don't see any way for them to ever wear out.
Both pairs are very comfortable, the blue ones are just a bit snug around the waist.
I wish I'd bought 2 pairs of khaki instead.

I have many other Duluth Flex products including pants and shirts. I am 6'4" and these shorts are really too short for me. I use them around the house but not out as my wife says they look like little boy shorts due to the length. I would imagine they are better for shorter men.

i have had mine shorts for about 4 months now. I'm 5'10" I have the 9" inseam shorts and they fall about 2" above my knee. I like that they stop above the knee I do a lot of squatting to pick up heavy objects. great flex makes it easy to move around in. Stain- and water-repelling Fend Of is not as great as I expedited fades off as you wash them. would be nice if you could reapply the treatment after washing. I will be buying more soon

I truly love these shorts for their flexibility, some shorts material has no give when doing out door work. They also have turned out to be excellent bike shorts for commuting and running errands, nice to have pockets.
