If you're working the hot jobs, even venturing off to the tropics, you'll want a few pairs of our 9" Quick-dry Shorts. Especially now that they're even better. Made of tough 5.6-oz. 100% nylon like that worn by fishermen, backpackers and climbers, they'll wick sweat away, dry quick and keep you drier when working up a sweat on hot days. This fabric is also incredibly tough stuff - a canvas weave that's made to work. It's built to last, also brushed for cottony comfort and a surprisingly soft, non-crinkly feel, with UPF 40 sun protection. Cargo pockets now have quick-draw side zips for access when sitting, plus hidden cell phone storage inside. New softer tricot-lined elastic waist has a removable web belt. Deep side pockets (one with zippered security pocket); large rear pockets with flap hook-and-loop closure. Crouch Gusset™ for ease in stooping, crouching and climbing.

Men's Sizing Charts

Head:

Measure around head, just above eyebrows. Convert inches to hat size using sizing chart.

Sleeve:

Measure from center of back at neck to shoulder, over elbow and down to wrist.

Tradesman Sizing:

Our clothing is generously sized for extra roominess and easy moving fit. No need to size up.

Neck:

Measure around the middle of the neck (at the Adam's apple).

Waist:

Bend side to side to find natural waist. Measure around waist.

Chest:

Keeping tape parallel to the floor, measure fullest part of chest with arms relaxed down at sides.

Inseam:

Measure a pair of pants that fit you well. Measure from the crotch seam to bottom of pants. If you are measuring 100% cotton pants that have been washed, add 1⁄2".

I was very pleaseantly surprised at the quality of these shorts. Very well made with lots of nice features and pockets for work or utility. The fabric also looks good enought to wear for a casual dress-up with a polo shirt ( or a Duluth Trading No-Polo)
Liked the fit also - very true to the 32-34 Medium size and the leg openings were not too large like a lot of shorts.
You guys hit a home run with this one!!!

I use the shorts for normal everyday activities which include fishing, hiking, yardwork, travel and family activites. They are extremely comfortable, easy to wash and clean, dry quickly and wrinkle free, and have proven to be quite durable. They are comfortable under warm temperature conditions. The pockets' design and arrangement is quite nice and makes carrying items easier. I have no negatives to pass along.

Great River Shorts

River Rafting

Bought them to raft thru the Grand Canyon on the Colorado River. It is important to have shorts that are servicable and ones that dry quickly. The River is 48-52 degrees year round so getting dry is essential. Found the additional cargo pockets very useful for quick access to the odds and ends.
