Survived the Polar Vortex in these!

    By Emmett the Mutt's Mom

    from Saginaw, MI

    Pros

    • Easy Clean
    • Pockets great
    • Warm

    Cons

    • No Women's Size

    Best Uses

    • Dog Park And Dog Walking
    • Indoors W Thermostat Low

Lived in these to survive Michigan's polar vortex with a rescued mutt who needs to play outdoors every day regardless of the temperature, snow, and wind. They are also adaptable - not too hot indoors with the thermostat set to 67*. Love the DT pockets, and they launder well to remove muddy paw prints. Only downside was that they weren't offered in women's plus size - the Men's XL's were functional but not particularly flattering. I thought they were pricey when I bought them, but after a couple weeks on the tundra they proved to be a good value. They earned a place in my suitcase when we go to Alaska this fall.

    Wind chill defeated

    By Stonedigger

    Pros

    • Warm
    • Windproof

    Cons

      Best Uses

Hull, MA. Just came back from a walk on the beach with my black lab. Temp 22 degress F with a wind chill factor down to 6 degress F. These pants kept me comfortable and warm. I originally bought them since I knew the ocean in the winter is cold. They have met every expectation during this wild winter.

High quality material. Suits my needs, especially the side zippers. A little too warm in my area (N.California). Almost perfect. The crutch area is too short, maybe I should order 1 size bigger. Thanks for the strech, I could live in it. Highly recommend.

fleece-lined nylon pants disappeared from the market for years. The ones I have been wearing for the past fifteen years camping, hiking, working and playing outside in the winter are starting to show wear. Bring back the shirt you sold years ago that would be a good match.

I bought a pair of Men's Lined Quick-Dry Pants this year to wear deer hunting. The temperature was -18F the first morning. I wore them with a thin pair of long underwear and they kept me nice and toasty. They were excellent to walk mile and miles of grasslands and through snow. They kept me as warm as my old coveralls! They do a great job blocking the wind and dry out quickly. I am ordering another pair today! Thanks again for a great product!

Like 'em a lot! Fleece liner makes them really comfortable for sitting around as well as working outdoors or hiking in a cold wind. 32-34 waist is a good fit for me at 32" waist but might be a bit tight for someone at 34.
