Luckily, lightweight, wicking Armachillo™ Pants solve the problem, giving you hardworking function due to ripstop nylon and 10 pockets while keeping you ultra cool. They actually feel to the touch thanks to Made-in-the-Jade fabric which incorporates microscopic cooling jade. You'll never see or feel the jade itself, only its amazing cooling power!

Tested and approved by our Texas Trades Panel who wore them in hot humid Houston summer. Quick-drying and antimicrobial to quash odor, with UPF 40 sun protection. Soft tricot-lined elastic waist with internal waist belt, button closure and zip fly. Side and back pockets, and cargo pockets with tuckable flaps to seal closed or open for easy access, plus pencil pockets.

Head:

Measure around head, just above eyebrows. Convert inches to hat size using sizing chart.

Sleeve:

Measure from center of back at neck to shoulder, over elbow and down to wrist.

Tradesman Sizing:

Our clothing is generously sized for extra roominess and easy moving fit. No need to size up.

Neck:

Measure around the middle of the neck (at the Adam's apple).

Waist:

Bend side to side to find natural waist. Measure around waist.

Chest:

Keeping tape parallel to the floor, measure fullest part of chest with arms relaxed down at sides.

Inseam:

Measure a pair of pants that fit you well. Measure from the crotch seam to bottom of pants. If you are measuring 100% cotton pants that have been washed, add 1⁄2".

Thin & Cool pants

So these pants are pretty good. I work for the railroad and during the summer time the temp is another 10 degrees hotter then what it actually is. Needed something that was lightweight but still durable. So far they are good. I have ordered a few pants from here before and the sizes were very good but for some reason these pants were a little longer then they should have been. Still like them and will just hem them up. Again, the material is thin and very comfortable and will most likely buy more in the future. Would like to see more color options and do away with the buckle in the front and go with belt loops.

It's so nice in this age of mail order to read an item's description and get exactly what you thought you ordered. These pants are great! I have yet to put them up against the summer temps and humidity here in Oklahoma but I expect great performance. I find myself occasionally wading while I am fishing and they air dry extremely fast.
I've had good luck washing them. While I was cleaning my BBQ grill I got that nasty black burned grease on them and it washed right out. The only suggestion I would have would be to change to an elastic belt, I think they would be even more comfortable.

I bought these to wear when working in the yard in the Oklahoma summer heat. Not that hot as yet, but have worn on two occasions already (along with the Armachillo Wide-Brim Hat) in 80+ degree temps and these will work perfectly in July/August.
