    COMMENTS:

I am an operator of heavy machinery. These gloves work very well when I have to run a piece of equipment that does not have an enclosed cab--today they made my hands sweat! My arms were cold, but my hands were warm.

        COMMENTS:

I bought these to use for work in a refrigerated warehouse, where the temperature is roughly 34 degrees. I drive a forklift, that utilizes a joystick and a tiller for control. After a few days of wearing the gloves, they seemed to break in rather well, allowing me to freely move my fingers on the controls. One thing that hasn't worked, is using the keyboard on the forklift. I often fat finger everything, making it very hard to type even two keys correctly. There is so much in the bunch of the finger tips, insulation, leather, and grip, that it makes it very hard to even use my zippers. The other down side is that they do not keep my hands as warm as I would wish. Sometimes, they are warm enough that it causes my hands to sweat, making them unbearable to put back on after taking a break. I often come back in the next day, and find my gloves are still wet with sweat from the previous shift. My last complaint is the grip. They have a kind of skate board deck type grip, which makes it extremely hard to lift any type of card board or wood boxes. My hands are straining to hold on because there is little friction produced between the grip and whatever I am trying to pick up. Sorry Duluth, I am not impressed with these over priced gloves. Try again.

I am an outdoor industrial electrician. These gloves are basically useless for holding a bolt or a nut or even a screwdriver probably good for digging ditches. The fingertips are square no tapering at all
