Comments about MN Fire Hose Briar Pants:

I bought these a year ago for pheasant hunting in western KS and they performed great. Very tough against weeds, branches and constant walking through grass and crops. Comfortable fit and no chaffing after a full day of walking, climbing hills and in/out of the vehicle after 2 days.

My problems came this year on opening weekend after crossing a barbed wire fence. One little nick to the crotch area and the firehose material started to come apart. I now have a half-dollar size hole down there and it is only getting worse. I have only worn them 4 days total and going to have to put a large patch to keep them from becoming part of the rag pile.

My second is more of an observation other than a problem, it is that the cotton material absorbs a little too much moisture if you are walking through dew soaked grass. The bottom part of my pants became saturated and added a pound or two to each leg.

Comments about MN Fire Hose Briar Pants:

This is my first purchase from Duluth Trading, and I have to say, these are some of the best pants I have ever purchsed. I am very imprest by the quality as well as fit. I am short and overweight so finding pants to fit just right can be dificult. These are great for hunting and will stand up to briars and tough brush. I will be buying many more things from Duluth since these pants have impressed me.

Comments about MN Fire Hose Briar Pants:

I use these pants for saltwater fishing and they are the best pants.
The other fishing pants are made with lighter fabric, but will snag on anything and everything. These pants resist all fish slime and also repels water.
The only down fall are they are heavy, and I wear them in the cooler months, but by far these are the pants you want to buy if you are trucking through the marsh GREAT fishing pants and didn't buy them for that, but that all I use them for now.

I am a falconer and follow my birds into the thickest cover chasing rabbits. I never had brush pants that turned the briars like these do.I always had to wear chaps and found them binding and uncomfortable in general. I only ordered one pair and when I tried to reorder you were out of my size. I sure hope you carry them again. Mick Brown

Used these all season in Montana, North Dakota and South Dakota. Temps ranged from -10 to +70 degrees and they worked well in all conditions; including adding layers underneath. They fought off the thickest briars and buckbrush and kept me hunting in every condition. I would buy more but don't need to; after all the abuse they still look brand new.

Comments about MN Fire Hose Briar Pants:

Even Straight out of the box, these pants are softer than your typical Carhartt pants. They wear very comfortably. I bought several pair and wear them almost all of the time. I work in the construction trade and these pants are phenominal.

I typically do not wear underware, but with these pants, it's a must. The tag is located at the right butt cheak and is very irritating without underware. I do with that the 36" inseem option was available and also the option for fleece lined as it does get a bit cold in Alaska

Comments about MN Fire Hose Briar Pants:

These pants were true to size. I ordered a 34, I take a 33 or 34, after reading a few reviews I thought I may have ordered the wrong size. When I got them and put them on they were just a shade big. I washed them they fit just right. Took them out hunting went through the same patch of briars that I did with my old pair of upland pants that tore my legs up and didn't feel one thorn go through them. Then went through even a thicker patch that I could hardly plow though felt only two thorns. I will keep these pants and will get another pair. Just wish they were made in USA and had a flap over the back pockets
