Not what I hoped for in a winter glove

Comments about Work Gloves - Men's Duluth Trading Gauntlet Winter Work Gloves:

Wanted to like these gloves but just did not work out. Differnetly not cold winter gloves, my fingers got cold way to to soon in only 20 degree weather. Fingers way to long which makes working in them a chore. Material on palms and fingers are too stiff which makes it harder to close you hands and only gets worse as it gets colder. Not good, as these are sold as winter work gloves.

The good is thay seem to be water proof and I did like the gauntlet cuff.

Comments about Work Gloves - Men's Duluth Trading Gauntlet Winter Work Gloves:

My uncle has diabetes and VERY large hands. Last winter in NJ was very cold and snowy, and he could not find gloves anywhere that fit and were warm enough. I ordered these online for him, and they worked great. The extra cuff kept snow from falling in the gloves when cleaning off the cars. They also had "good gripping" power on icy railings to help keep him steady while he moved on stairs. I just bought another pair for myself and my brother.

Comments about Work Gloves - Men's Duluth Trading Gauntlet Winter Work Gloves:

I was driving through North Dakota when it was 12 degrees and I had my gloves on and stuck them out the window to see how the held up to the wind. I was very surprised that I didn't feel any wind slipping through, even at 75 mph. I flexed my fingers, bent at the wrist and made all the movements that I could, and still no leaks. Thank You Duluth!

Had bought another brand from local retailer and found that they did not block the wind. This is an important part of keeping hands warm.

Comments about Work Gloves - Men's Duluth Trading Gauntlet Winter Work Gloves:

Delivery was right on time as usual, the gloves seem to be well constructed and durable and kept my hands nice and dry while digging out of a couple of our recent snow storms. I feel there are just two problems with this product. First, they're just not as warm as I thought they would be, after about 45 minutes in 20 degree weather my fingertips were pretty darn cold. This leads to the second problem. They need to be better insulated to justify the cost.
