I lost a key off of one of these - it was hanging on my beltloop and came off as I entered or exited my truck. Fortunately it was in my driveway and the key was found. I no longer use these to hang keys on because they open up so easily. A double-ended bolt snap serves the purpose without losing my keys.

Medium and large sizes are too long to hook on p!ants loop but work great off my vests. Versatile

Actually, I have really bad arthritis in my hands. It is very difficult for me to close fasteners, or clasps like on the dog leash. I use these S-biners and they solve the problem for me. Just press it against what I want to fasten and it holds. Wonderful. No more digital dexterity needed. It is similarly easy to unclasp with these.

We sometimes dive. When we clean up the gear, we need a hook that can handle some weight and not drop the gear in the dirt. This fills that bill. We can also easily identify our stuff from the "crowd" of other gear hanging in a common area.
