These boots have performed excellent during my limited time wearing them. I had a certain boot with wings, that finally wore out but I could not afford such expensive boots this time around. These boots are a great deal and they look great. They really are waterproof, and the extra set of speed laces make them easy to put on and take off.

These are comfortable boots and appear to be well made, although I have not owned them long enough to test their durability. The soles have good tread patterns but are a bit soft - I can feel rocks and rough ground much easier through these than I do in my normal hiking boots. For me these boots will be best used for general work instead of hiking.

I bought these boots for daily work on our ranch where I tend to the needs of horses, goats, chickens and maintain several acres of fruit trees, gardens and landscaping that involve a lot of work with sprinkler/drip systems. VERY comfortable boots with just a day or two break-in time. I particularly like the 3rd hook for lacing that's spaced a little wider than the other two. Makes it very easy to slip these boots on and off. They seem very durable so far, but time will tell. These boots are advertised as 100% waterproof. I did not find this to be the case. I did not treat them before doing some sprinkler work and my socks became damp. Not soaking, but damp. Assuming they wear well over time, I would buy these again, but they do need some extra treatment for waterproofing.

I am very pleased with these boots so far. they are the same soles that are on my hiking boots that I have used on the AT for over 10yrs. The rubber toe bumper are nice to protect the toes from scuffing. The boots are comfortable and they breath like full leather boots do, not like cordera fabric but ok.
I am very happy and will buy another pair when these wear out, which may be awhile. A good pair of boots usually lasts 2yrs before they become my muddy wear boots.

Didn't get a chance to seal the leather with an oil before I put them to the test.....lots of mud and snow melting so had to 'jump in' and keep the construction site from flooding. Feet stayed warm and dry even when submerged (obviously not above top) for a few hours in mud and snow, I then rinsed them off and they still looked brand new! I did have the killer socks on that Duluth sells too.....

I load trucks and have to have something nonslip that will be sturdy enough to handle the back and forth step motions, yet not rub the heck out of my tender feet. I wore these around the house for 2 days before I wore them to work, and I have had absolutely NO trouble with them.

It didn't feel like I had new boots on. They were easy to put on and lace up even with all my winter gear on. Very flexable, stable and warm when removing snow.
