      Whaleback Down Bib

      By Dave the Texan

      from Gunnison, CO

      Pros

      • True to Fit
      • Warm

      Cons

      • Durability

      Best Uses

      • Snowmobiling

Eh. I went boarding 4 times in these and the down started leaking. I own a few DT products and am very happy with them. I was super surprised the quality didn't uphold for this product. I was also very upset. I'm from Texas and I moved to Gunnison, CO and I need warmth.

Now, I just won't buy any down products from Duluth. But the outer shell was great quality. They were also fairly comfortable unless sitting down. Though, I believe that's just the nature of snow bibs.

Can't recommend them unless you won't be doing any movement in them. That's why I think they're more for non-mobile activities like sledding.

OK, I waited until they went on sale before I got off my wallet...should have bought them earlier...would have been worth the higher price.

There is not enough words to adequately describe just how much better these are than any of the other bibs I've tried over the years, and believe me, I've tried them all.

Those other bibs still have their uses, but when it gets downright nasty these are my only choice.

Last pair I'll ever need to buy

        By C.Clark

        from Wisconsin

I went to their store and was lucky enough to get these during an in-store sale they were having. I looked at the Superior Bib at first. They have more of a canvas feel to them where these have more of a cordura feel. Great wide zippers. Pockets are perfect and they fit true. I'm 5'9" and 175#. I bought Medium/30". If you're a little thicker in the belly, you may want to go with a Large. I've been out in the snow playing w/the kids, shoveling, etc and have warm and completely dry. They may cost a little more, but they are worth every penny.

This is great for cold weather. It maintains warmth during high winds (60 mph+); fits great and is easy to get on & off with the long zippers in the legs.

My husband works outdoors and he says these are the best coveralls he's ever had. The heavy duty fabric will last a long time which justifies the price tag. Really nice fit and good quality!

it took a while for me to bite the bullet and spend the money (a considerable sum) but they were worth every penny I paid for them. I am a nighttime snowmaker in the north east and could not find warm and dry bibs. these are the ticket. i paired them with the whaleback work jacket and have not complained about the weather since. the more i buy from these guys the more i like them. keep up the good work.
