I use this for mountain biking and it's just the right weight and warmth and keeps the wind out. It's also good on a cool spring day when you don't want to wear a jacket. I wore this on a day that ranged from 30 to just over 60 and kept it on the whole day, just removing a shirt layer.

I would give this 5 stars, but it has so many pockets, that many of them are not that useful... kind of a gimmic just to have a lot of pockets. My biggest gripe is that the hand warmer pockets are not big enough... I can barely get my hands in them without gloves on, with gloves, forget it... and I am usually wearing this with gloves too. I got an XL vest and it should be able to fit XL hands, but it fits medium at best. I've never had this problem before, and it if wasn't for all those extra useless pockets they put in it, the handwarmer pockets could have been big enough.

I have purchased Duluth clothing for many years and always found the fit to be consistant. I wear XXL and this vest is not the same size as my previous XXL from Duluth. Barely fits over a shirt and is snug through out the vest.

This product is being used for work. Sometimes I'm out late at night and the temperature drops below 34 degrees F. I only wish that I had purchased the Jacket rather than the vest. Having said that...A Great Vest, very warm.

Purchased this vest for a Albany, NY project within one week I was sent to Sacramento, Ca it worked perfect in both climates. Another CM liked it so much he purchased a Force Nine Jacket the next day.

I work in a high wind environment, and this vest is perfect for keeping the breeze out. Layer it with a long sleeve button up, and it keeps a guy warm without a lot of bulk. Awesome product!

I used this jacket for traveling the first time in 2011. It was so convenient to put everything I need into the pockets (could be larger) and checked the vest through the machine at the airport. The zippered inside pockets are super-safe places for passport, credit cards and cash. I use the larger outside pockets for cell phone, medication and other items. After a long search, I decided on this vest. My only regret is that I like this vest so much that I ordered a canvas one one-size larger, not as good looking, and too large for me. Not sure I can return it for a smaller size.
