No shiny snaps or embroidered horseshoes here – our Denim F.O.M. Shirt is packed with function. Underarm gussets for freedom of movement. Double-layer back yoke and triple-stitched seams for diehard durability. All in the same soft-yet-tough 10-oz. cotton denim as our Midweight Jeans.

Men's Sizing Charts

Head:

Measure around head, just above eyebrows. Convert inches to hat size using sizing chart.

Sleeve:

Measure from center of back at neck to shoulder, over elbow and down to wrist.

Tradesman Sizing:

Our clothing is generously sized for extra roominess and easy moving fit. No need to size up.

Neck:

Measure around the middle of the neck (at the Adam's apple).

Waist:

Bend side to side to find natural waist. Measure around waist.

Chest:

Keeping tape parallel to the floor, measure fullest part of chest with arms relaxed down at sides.

Inseam:

Measure a pair of pants that fit you well. Measure from the crotch seam to bottom of pants. If you are measuring 100% cotton pants that have been washed, add 1⁄2".

Like origional 501 jeans it will take a while for this heavy denim to fade and break in. That's a good thing. I'm very happy with this shirt, more so after washing it a time or two for needed shrinkage. Not so sure about the sideways buttonhole at the bottom, but it wouldn't keep me from recommending the shirt.

This is an amazingly well built shirt but it is not preshrunk so when you first take it out of the box, it is huge. After about four or five washings though, it shrinks to fit just like a good pair of jeans. Styling is very basic which I like. No pearlized buttons or weird cowboy patterns. It has become increasingly rare to find a basic denim shirt without all the bells and whistles. Nothing beats Duluth's quality on this product just like everything they make. The cut is very thick. This is the first time I have owned a denim shirt that may just outlive me! The only complaint I have is that it is only available in the vintage color.

I've waited a long time for a Duluth denim shirt and this shirt exemplifies the quality I've come to expect from Duluth. The material and stitching is of the highest quality and seems like it will last a long time. My only issue is that I would have preferred a choice of a lighter color. It will take a lot of washings to get that lived-in, faded look.
