Men's Sizing Charts

Head:

Measure around head, just above eyebrows. Convert inches to hat size using sizing chart.

Sleeve:

Measure from center of back at neck to shoulder, over elbow and down to wrist.

Tradesman Sizing:

Our clothing is generously sized for extra roominess and easy moving fit. No need to size up.

Neck:

Measure around the middle of the neck (at the Adam's apple).

Waist:

Bend side to side to find natural waist. Measure around waist.

Chest:

Keeping tape parallel to the floor, measure fullest part of chest with arms relaxed down at sides.

Inseam:

Measure a pair of pants that fit you well. Measure from the crotch seam to bottom of pants. If you are measuring 100% cotton pants that have been washed, add 1⁄2".

My Husband Won't Wear Any Other Polo

My husband works in a hospital but has always been both picky about and hard on his clothes. This is his favorite polo for both work and weekend. The arms are not too tight (which he always complains about in other shirts) and the fabric is comfortable. He won't wear any other polo.

I wear polo shirts everyday for work and these ones are only good for taking up room in my closet. Eddie Bauer polo's fit much better and as far as the length goes these are shorter. The front is to short to tuck in properly and the back comes untucked as soon as you bend over. I wear a 2x and it was huge on me. I sent it back for a 1x and it fits fine except for the length and I'm only 5'10".

Ok- so as mentioned many times, this shirt is huge. Same with the long tail T's, etc. I'm 5'10, 170 lbs. This puts me squarely in the "average guy" category. However, even size small polo shirts fail to fit me with any kind of a trim, professional look. I bought this shirt hoping to wear it for work, but can't approach my clients looking like I'm wearing. Clothing three sizes too big. Duluth Trading, when it comes to shirts, should start advertising themselves as a [...] store. Nothing fits guys like me, or most of the guys I see on job sites. A shame, to be sure!

Shirts seem well made, but sizes are way off. I've worn large or extra large for 25 years. The large size in these shirts is tent-like. I assume they're made for extra-large guys who would like to think of themselves as being size smaller. Now I have to pay to ship them back.

Good Value with ONE DRAWBACK!

Only drawback to these fine shirts: they lack a pocket, which for men on the go is a serious drawback. Manufacturers are gouging the consumer by not putting pockets on casual wear polos and T's without charging extra. It was customary not too many years past to have pockets sewn on all pull overs. Gradually with the importation of foreign cheap goods, which killed the American clothing manufacture and textile industries; pockets no longer were provided! This practice did nothing to lower retail prices! As a consumer, I vote with my dollar! As a consequence I will stop buying foreign made goods wherever and whenever I can. This will be the last set of summer shirts that I buy without pockets!
