The sole is great, my last pair had NO crepe sole, so I couldn't even step out in the morning dew! If I did have to complain, it would be that they were just a tad too small. Since others complained about them being loose and falling off, I decided to just wear them and strech them out, A week later they are still just a hair tight but will be perfect soon. If you want to wear socks, you need to size up!

I'm a fan of Duluth products, but this one is a letdown. Both shoes are the same shape - no left or right, which means they twist on your foot. Not the same as the illustration, but with a square, narrow toe and wide arch. Good materials and workmanship, spoiled by a poor design. Judging by the rest of the comments it seems the product is inconsistent. [*]

Very warm and comfortable slippers, but the sole is very thin, and the tacky gum rubber soles provide too much grip on any but the most-slippery surfaces. If you want toasty-warm feet, and don't mind having the soles "stick" on carpets and some tile floors, these are the ones for you!

As others have mentioned before, these slippers tend to run a bit large, especially after the interior fur gets matted-down some. There is also absolutely no arch support, but then I don't expect that in my slippers.

I just slip my feet in and start out, first one foot then the other. I have noticed that the left one always goes on last though. I put the first one on, then the one that is left goes on next.

When I'm just puttzing around, I don't waste a pair of socks to keep my feet warm. Stepping out to get the mail, or changing a light bulb on the porch, you won't need to change into any other footwear. No matter what the weather.

Wouldn't use them to go to the store, or Sunday go to meetings.

Of course, I have not owned these slippers for a long time, so I cannot be certain about my comment. However, fro the way in which they are made and the apparent quality, they should prove to be durable for quite a few years at least.
