Head:

Measure around head, just above eyebrows. Convert inches to hat size using sizing chart.

Sleeve:

Measure from center of back at neck to shoulder, over elbow and down to wrist.

Tradesman Sizing:

Our clothing is generously sized for extra roominess and easy moving fit. No need to size up.

Neck:

Measure around the middle of the neck (at the Adam's apple).

Waist:

Bend side to side to find natural waist. Measure around waist.

Chest:

Keeping tape parallel to the floor, measure fullest part of chest with arms relaxed down at sides.

Inseam:

Measure a pair of pants that fit you well. Measure from the crotch seam to bottom of pants. If you are measuring 100% cotton pants that have been washed, add 1⁄2".

I purchased several pairs of these also about 2 years along with several casual/dress belts. These pants go very well with a sports jacket /sweater. I like the security zipper coin pocket & expanding waistband after having large meals. These classic pants among my favorite staples.

I was blown away by the waist. I wanted a 42inch waist. I tried to let them out from the 40 inch waist and there was not enough material. The advertisment says they are easily altered but this is not true if the extra material is not there.

Pluses and Minuses

Not long enough

Only For Casual Travel

I bought these pants strictly for casual / dressy wear when traveling internationally. They are comfortable in the waist but the legs are too thin for the style. I'm 6'3" and bought the longest length and they are about an inch too short. My wife said she'd lengthen them because they are advertised as easy to customize but the hem only has about 3/4" of extra material. Not enough to lengthen and hem. Also the bottom leg cut is not at an appropriate angle. The photo implies that there is a cuff that would be appropriate for a pleated front but they are not cuffed. I'll keep them for casual travel overseas but if these were for normal wear I would return them.

I have purchased three pair and I wear them to work and casual business occasions. Love the fit, the comfort, truly no iron are all pluses. Wish they had more colors and I have had to sew up the crotch on two of them and repair the elastic waist on one. But I put up with the lack of craftsmanship because I like the feel and look of the pants so much.

I own five pairs of these (in the heather gray color) and I wear them to work with a dark sport jacket. Just the fact that I can wash them instead of dry cleaning makes them invaluable. I'm a detective and must dress semi-formal (tie, dress shoes, etc.) and these pants are perfect. Best dress pants I ever owned, very functional and very very comfortable.
