Men's Sizing Charts

Head:

Measure around head, just above eyebrows. Convert inches to hat size using sizing chart.

Sleeve:

Measure from center of back at neck to shoulder, over elbow and down to wrist.

Tradesman Sizing:

Our clothing is generously sized for extra roominess and easy moving fit. No need to size up.

Neck:

Measure around the middle of the neck (at the Adam's apple).

Waist:

Bend side to side to find natural waist. Measure around waist.

Chest:

Keeping tape parallel to the floor, measure fullest part of chest with arms relaxed down at sides.

Inseam:

Measure a pair of pants that fit you well. Measure from the crotch seam to bottom of pants. If you are measuring 100% cotton pants that have been washed, add 1⁄2".

Comments about Duluth Trading Men's Fire Hose Logger's Pants:

I ordered these pants for weekend work at home and for hunting. Fire hose canvas looks tough, but snags and tears easily. I wore the pants three times. The first time, the threads of a button cut through the fabric. The second, a snag on barbed wire quickly developed into a three-quarter inch hole. The final time, fabric at the fly pulled free of the seam. Cotton duck is tougher, and so is good old denim. I hope to have better luck with ballroom jeans, as the fit of Duluth pants really is superior.

These Fire Hose Logger Pants made are?

Second pair of the dark brown logger pants. The material does not live up to the hype. The zipper is about 2" to short. I had worn these a few times and yesterday after kneeling on the ground a tear appeared in the knee area.
The material tore as if it was cut with a knife. My older tan colored ones seems to last longer.I will send these back again. I do like the fit but they're not holding up well, and the short zipper is another annoyance when nature calls..

Highly recommended and a great Safety Item, and pants are not too hot to work in. The double fabric actually stopped a CHAINSAW ! when I didnt have my chaps on.

best work pant ever

I received these pants for Christmas. Ive worn them every day performing service station inspections. They have withstood 5 1/2 months of torture at work and survived one motorcycle accident. I just wore through the knee now. these pant will last you 4 times longer than any other pant on the market.

Quality Not As Expected

I am a furniture maker by trade. My shop floor is rough concrete and I would wear out the knees of regular jeans in just a few months from kneeling down through the coarse of the day. So I bought the firehose logger pants. It was a year before I wore through one of the knees, but they did wear out just the same. In addition I would carry tools in the pockets; they too wore through. The pants don't hold up as well as you would expect by the marketing. DT did replace them as promised. Time will tell how well this second pair holds up from everyday commercial use. They are still the better defense against wearout.

THIS PAIR TORE THE VERRY FIRST TIME I WORE THEM I WENT ICE FISHING AND BENT DOWN TO THE FISH HOLE THEN RIPP THE CROTCH TORE OUT NO GOING UP TOWN FOR A BEER NOW SENT THEM BACK YOU SENT NEW PAIR OUT WORE NEW PAIR 2 TIMES AND ARE NOW TEARING IN SAME SPOT WHATS UP WITH THAT
