    Comfortable, Durable and Nice Looking

These pants are hands (or legs) down the best I have ever owned. Kept me warm in the unsually cold winter of 2014, but not hot when they temps rose to 70 degrees. Durable, COMFORTABLE and worth every penny.

PLEASE BRING THESE BACK and add a blue and olive color.

          GREAT pants-comfort, versatile, durable

Use at work, casually and even proper for fine dining restaurants. Fit is immediately comfortable. Warmth is perfect-not too warm. Apparent high construction should last washing and wear over the long term but time will tell. Got legs shortened but that's due to me. Fit and size as advertised but likely could have gotten one size smaller maybe. No need to wear a second pant underneath but ample room for long underwear in extreme cold temp if necessary.

These pants are one those unique items that really are multipurpose. I've used them for casual, wood cutting, and general run around town. They have the comfort for extended wear and clean up with no problem. Gas, oil, sawdust are no problem; just wash and they look like new. They don't have that stiffness that some nylon type pants do.

I use these pants as part of my winter Search and Rescue gear. They were warm enough as long as I wore long johns underneath, but not overly warm during activities like walking through deep snow or hiking. All the pockets are handy too. I went on line to buy another pair and they were gone, I hope you haven't discontinued them as some of the other women on my team would like to get a pair.

Only 4 stars for not having a zippered pocket somewhere. Yes nit picky but, that would make it the worlds best pant.

If they ever add a zippered pocket and zip off legs,or offer that style separately I'd buy 3 pair immediately.

Bought a pair for my father, and its all he wears now.

Winter walking in this very cold 2014 winter in Michigan.
Keeps my legs warm and dry to 10 degrees, and -15 degrees with long johns
It would be helpful if waist size range reference was provided, I could have probably went with a 2XL instead of the 3XL.

I like the pants - good comfort, design and durability, but I ordered a 34" length and they sent a 36". Now my pant bottoms are dragging and will start to fray.

Worst winter in years so I guess I ordered these pants at a good time because they're really getting good use. Shoveling snow, jumping batteries & just playing outside is just fine now. Pants came promptly & as advertised. On clearance too! How about that.

I had a problem on leg length. I ordered two pairs of pants one was the Black Hills and the other was Dry on the Fly. Both ordered with 30" inseams. The Dry inseam measured 29.5" and the BH was 31.5". The BHs were too long. Thinking that it might be a manufacturer defect, I called and asked if they could measure another pair to see if they were all 31.5". If they were I would accept this and hem them to proper length myself. The operator said she couldn't and offered a reorder and free return shipping. This being done. The new ones measured the same. The refund on the first pair ordered was taking too long, so I called them. After explaining to operator what had happened, she left the phone to go measure another pair to see if they would be 31.5" also. She returned saying that they didn't have that size on the shelf.
I have a hard time finding pants that fit. Long story short the service was good even though confusing at times, and the reorder really didn't have to occur. They refunded first pair and return shipping. I hemmed the Black Hills pants and really like them. I am not sure why manufacturers don't work with outseams which is more realistic. An outseam is the length from the top of the pants along the outer leg to the floor. Men wear pants at different heights on their bodies. Especially nowadays with all these teens wearing them so their underwear show. ha ha.
