As an industrial welder I am often on my knees on all kinds of surfaces, including the number one knee killer, metal grating. Most knee pads are made of plastics and melt, giving off a horrible smell. Other knee pads have more padding than these which feel unnatural when wearing them. They also take up a lot of space in my tool box, which it seems is always scarce.

These knee pads are great for my job, they don't melt and they keep my knees from becoming hamburger, without taking up too much space in my tool box.

these are awesome. I work outdoors and am on my knees digging holes often and these are very high quality and they stay right where they need to without being in the way. other knee pads I have used have had an elastic style strap which is supposed to add comfort but I find they chafe and rub my legs and just feel awkward but I forget that these are even on

When I was an apprentice carpenter many years ago I had a set just like this, I lost one knee pad than a few years ago I lost the other & had been kinda searching for them, when I saw that you guys had them I purchased the set & I use them for everything when I am not wearing my fire hose pants with knee pads.

I have used cheap pads in the past and they fall apart. This is a quality product that stands up. The straps are tight but if not strapped on tightly, they are too loose and tend to cause the pad to slip down the leg. Still the pads hold up very well and have saved my knees while building a patio. They hold together even in mud.
