I am using this driving cap as a hat for cool days/nights as I walk to and from the parking lot and the building in which I work. It is a 1/2 mile walk, and usually breezy.
The hat fits great. I bought a 2x based on measurements I took of my head (I already knew it was going to need at least 1x). The fit with or without the ear flaps is quite nice. It also looks good on me-doesn't mess my medium length hair up at all.
The hat is very warm, and is a good choice for most winter days, except that the ear flaps don't stay against my ears very well, and depending on the wind direction, the flaps actually channel wind inside my ear.
This is not a flaw of this particular hat, rather it is simply how these types of hats are. More serious wind protection requires ear flaps with chin straps, which would not look good on this style of driving cap.
Overall, I am pleased with this hat. I will be a repeat customer for sure!

Fits great, and has flaps to warm your ears, and they don't fold on the outside as pictured in catalog. Who ever drew that picture got it all wrong .This is a cool Driving Cap.

I got this as a present for my husband, and he really likes it. The fact that you can use the flaps or tuck them in is a real plus. It is a little bulkier than I had anticipated, but it is worth the warmth!
These are generously sized, so do measure and go with what the chart says.

I love my hat. I have big ears and the pull down ear flaps are excellent warmth here in minot where the wind blows each and every day.Excellent product and recommend duluth products to anyone looking for dependability and function. Duck, Minot North Dakota.No negatives.
The hat works very well for golfing in the wind and cold, keeping the ears warm. It looks good, too.

This was the only hat I could find online that offered sizes other than "one size fits all" or L/XL. I have a big head and needed to have an actual size offered to work. This is a very nice cap.
