Men's DTPro Carpenter's Gloves

I'm disappointed in these gloves. I've used them about a dozen times for construction and they are falling apart at the seams. The thread is literally falling off. I've usually been very satisfied with DP products but not these. They were on sale so maybe they knew there was a problem with the gloves construction. .

I got these gloves to replace another pair of work gloves that didn't quite get the job done. Once I received these puppies, there's nothing else I would rather have. The synth-leather palm makes working on any part of a vehicle multitudes easier, and the fingerless tips shine when it comes the manipulating small bolts or wires. They clean up easily, which is a big bonus for me. Simply put, these are some of the best gloves you can get.

I work as a Locomotive Engineer for a N. VA commuter railroad, and use these gloves everyday for work. They fit great, with a very short break-in period (about two days for me, which others have taken a week or more).
The fingertips being uncovered makes it so much easier for me to fill out paperwork while on the train without having to remove the gloves. Definitely a more natural feel with the fingers the way the materials have been specifically cut for better dexterity.

The only thing I would change on these is to add an elastic to the back of the wrist, right at the pivot point, in order to help keep the gloves "seated". The cuff helps to protect your wrist, but the way that my forearm and wrist are contoured, the gloves have a tendency to move up my wrist and I have to pull them back on. An elastic embedded into the mesh on the back of the wrist would help to keep the gloves in the proper position.

I would definitely recommend these gloves to friends and family.

I really like these gloves. I work in a printing warehouse, so I have to work with a lot of paper. The gloves keep a majority of the dust off my hands while enabling me to grab and count sheets of paper at the same time.

Bought the gloves as a gift for my son. He is very pleased with the product.

Bought the gloves for my husband to use on his mail route. He wasn't sure they would work but has loved them. They help keep his hand warm and from cracking in the cold.

I bought these gloves for cold weather fishing. The exposed fingers allow me to finger the line and tie knots while the rest of the hand is warm. The grip padding on the palm allows good control of the rod. I also use these gloves for outdoor shooting events. My trigger finger is exposed and my thumb can actuate the safety and eject button. the palm padding helps to maintain my grip. I've use fingerless gloves of other materials. Some are warmer than these but many are bulkier and don't provide the grip or versatility.

I bought these gloves to use for aid climbing in Zion and Yosemite. I can say they are great with very nice protection, great dexterity with the three fingers cut off, and high breathability (it was 97 degrees). I wore them for almost 3 days straight (yes, I slept in them) on a recent climb in Zion. They held up really well to constant heavy ropework, hauling, and gear handling, but the wear is definitely showing in some of the stitching. They might last for one more wall, but I liked em so much I'll probly be getting another pair when these fall apart.

I usually get 2XL and can sometimes get buy with XL, not with these gloves. The 2XL gloves I bought will make a nice gift for someone with smaller hands.
