This is the shoe for everything! It looks good with shorts or dress pants. I have have worn these shoes every day for over a year and they almost look better than when I bought them! They are still going strong at the seems and the leather has more character. I do recommend treating/water proofing the leather with a spray. A very good investment!

The seam in the heal of the shoe rubs me the wrong way, because my heal moves up and down as I walk. Especially my smaller foot. I have narrow heals and this may not be a problem for other people, although I still think that seem needs to go. If I can solve this issue with a pad, etc. then I will buy another pair to wear at work, where I am on my feet for 8 hours.
There is plenty of room for my toes, which is the main reason for my purchase.
I always buy shoes one size larger, because I wear thick socks.

The break-in period took about three days or approximately 6 dog walking miles in total. The stiffness between the toe box and tongue was the only discomfort during the break-in period. In my opinion, the fit is quite generous. I am typically a size 12EE and the 12D had plenty of width, especially in the toe box. The foot bed is very comfortable. The aggressive tread had no problems hiking through the woods going up and down steep terrain and loose soil, leaves, sticks etc. They are also stylish enough for casual dress at the pub. The toe protector is a great feature and has already come in handy. I absolutely love these shoes and would recommend them to anyone. The only criticism I could find is the leather on the inside of the shoe at the heel peeled a little bit. It did not peel from the stitching or seams so structurally I don't have any concerns. It is as though a thin layer of leather peeled similar to how skin peels from sunburn. I don't think it is an issue since it appears to just be during the break-in period. It is something I've never experienced before with shoes. These shoes have quickly become my daily wear.

Very comfortable shoe from the first time you put them on. The extra room in the toe box make them a pleasure to wear, even all day. Outsouls have good traction and the rubber toe and heel caps protect the leather well.

I am very hard on shoes. I usually purchase one pair and wear them everywhere until I wear them out. After purchasing these I will be looking at Keen sneakers for this summer.

Originally ordered my true size, but they were a half size too small. Exchanged for next half size up. Perfect. These shoes are great for walking my one mile to and from work, running errands, riding my bicycle, going out to the movies or casual restaurants. Comfortably snug on my feet but with nice wiggle room for my toes. The rubberized toe has already come in handy protecting my own digits, and the sole has very good gripping ability on a variety of surfaces. At times it feels like I'm fighting to get my feet into these shoes, but once they're on, they are very comfortable, even after keeping them on for a long, long day. They aren't very pretty, but they are very functional and practical. I ordered these after wearing the summer sandal-like version of Keens which are also great. So far neither pair is showing any sign of wearing out.
