After I had cataract surgery I no longer wore glasses every day, but needed glasses for close up work. I shoot and use power equipment at home. I needed glasses that provided good eye protection and allowed me to read and do closeup work. These were the only bifocal safety glasses I found that fit my size 7-1/2 head. They are comfortable, allow me to read and load firearms while protecting my eyes, without switching to reading glasses. They fit very well and don't scratch. The bifocal works well.

They are a little wider than I need. I had purchased a pair from another source and they were much too narrow.

I will try a pair of Duluth's standard cheaters since they are only 15% smaller

I am required to wear safety glasses when at work. I have tried other "cheaters" type safety glasses, including those from Duluth Trading and the main problem with all of them was they didn't fit my head. Sooner or later they all broke or were left off because they squeezed my temples. These are great!!! They offer great coverage (protection) and let me read guages, control panels, circuit breakers, blue prints, etc. and they don't squeeze my head. My only wish would be for a tinted pair for outside work and to make the magnifying part of the lenses about 30% larger in both dimensions.
