Men's Souped-up Full Zip Mock

I wear it all the time. It's better than a hoodie.

I originally thought it was going to be a little large, after two washing it fit like a glove. Heavier than a typical cotton zip jacket, but that is what I wanted when it was ordered! I will own another two or three when the time is right.

I've owned many sweatshirts and many are either too light weight [Carhartt] or too heavy [Arborwear]. This is just right. I really like the elastic side panel that gives a slim fit but allows a good freedom of movement. The pocket within a pocket is a perfect fit for my smartphone. I wish it was available in a few more colors.
And NO HOOD!

Perfect for a cool start to what will be a warm day -- Like a sweater, but zip front so easy on and off, plus doesn't snag like a sweater -- So few zip front sweatshirts available without hoods.

I use this as an extra layer when the temp drops under the new raincoat that I bought from Duluth Trading. Works great for a light jacket when walking the dog, or just running errands.

For slightly cool nights around the beach

I've been buying and living in "souped-up" sweats for a long time now. They're all great when you first get them (ok, I admit that the belt on the sweatpants needed some re-design), but the real proof doesn't come until you've washed them multiple times: You see, having something that's 80% cotton, and thick cotton at that, presents certain creeping shrinkage problems. I wonder if anyone has ever considered upping the percentage of polyester from 20% to at least 40%? I think it'd help.

Use as all around outerwear.

I wear this daily if the temp is about 32 to 55 degrees.
The zipper is heavy duty and does not snag on other items.
It has not shrunk yet with one washing, and the color has remained
good.
The fabric is heavy duty cotton and very durable, I love the cuffs.

I have one with a hood which is good for cold weather. When it is warm enough and I only need a single layer and hat, this is what I grab.
