I have at least one pair of many of the top brand name socks. All are more expensive than this one and this one is better than some and just as good or better than the others. I like a thick sock and this one fits the bill on that count. I like longer than crew length that is offered on most socks. This one says over the calf but it is more mid calf on me and that is even better.

I wear these socks daily working on the farm. Wool has always caused me to itch but have not had a problem with these socks. I now own and wear 11 pair.

I'm a sockaholic and this is a good sock! The price is one of the best on the 'net--better than most. I have top name brands too. I like a thicker sock and this one fills the bill on that count. However, if you don't like a thicker sock, you might should look at a mid-weight or light-weight. The height is more mid-calf on me (6'2½") but I also prefer that. The wool blend of 80% is outstanding.

I wear size 13 shoes, so socks are usually hard to find that are big enough. These are like bath towels! They ride well above my calf so my boot tops don't rub my legs raw. VERY thick and well cusioned, and even though they are wool, they don't make my feet too hot. Great socks!!
