Men's Sizing Charts

Head:

Measure around head, just above eyebrows. Convert inches to hat size using sizing chart.

Sleeve:

Measure from center of back at neck to shoulder, over elbow and down to wrist.

Tradesman Sizing:

Our clothing is generously sized for extra roominess and easy moving fit. No need to size up.

Neck:

Measure around the middle of the neck (at the Adam's apple).

Waist:

Bend side to side to find natural waist. Measure around waist.

Chest:

Keeping tape parallel to the floor, measure fullest part of chest with arms relaxed down at sides.

Inseam:

Measure a pair of pants that fit you well. Measure from the crotch seam to bottom of pants. If you are measuring 100% cotton pants that have been washed, add 1⁄2".

Bought this for our frequent 'not quite cold enough for polypropylene' weather.
It's wool. Weight belies its considerable warmth. And unlike cotton, wool works wet.
The true test will be durability over time to see if it's truly a good value.
Wore them to Scout Camp-out last weekend. 28-50 degree range. Very comfortable under medium over layers.
Just ordered a second set.

I take a 3X so I have a hard time finding good quality wool clothing. I guess the other manufactureres don't think people my size are supposed to be active outdoors. Oh well, their loss. I bought the half-zip and the long john top and bottoms for myself and my first impression was that they all seemed a little lightweight. however, after wearing them deer hunting, cutting firewood, snowshoeing and just tramping around the woods, I liked them so well I bought the half-zip for my brother as a birthday gift. I was a little apprehensive about wash and care, but I just set the machine on extra delicate and hang them on a drying rack and they dry in no time at all. I've only owned them for about 2 months now, but I've been wearing them everyday since they arrived, even just around the house (let's me turn the thermostat down a degree or two as a bonus). After several washings, they seem to be holding up just fine. I notice my brother is wearing his everytime I see him, too. My only regret is I didn't double my order.

I use this when riding my motorcycle in cool weather. I live in Texas so the weather gets cool not cold. I know what cold is because I used to live in Upstate New York. These long johns are OK for cool Texas weather but not suitable for cold weather. It's are just too thin and lightweight. Very comfortable though. I wouldn't think that making it twice as thick would reduce comfort but it certainly would help retain heat. Product is OK but not worth the price.

The zipper neck is great for cooling off after walking in to deer blind.
It's a great layering shirt for really cold weather, and feels true to size.
