I never thought I'd rave about a pair of socks. I'm not a little guy, when I'm in the woods and bogs of northern MN I'm on my feet for 10-14 hours a day. These socks fit, they don't cut of the circulation by being to tight in the calf, they stay up and don't bunch up around your ankles and toes. If you're gonna be wearing tall boots, mukluks etc, these are the socks for you!

These socks are top quality! They firmly cushion my feet and keep their shape after washing. My feet never get cold despite the winter Indiana is experiencing this year! These socks are a little pricey, but they are worth it!! I am in the process of replacing all of my socks!

Living in a beautiful and very cold environment, it is necessary to have warm, reliable sox to wear with boots that can wick perspiration and remain warm, even when wet. These sox do that and I am able to wear them and remain outside in the snow for as long as my dog's paws can endure the snowy walks!

As I either walk or bicycle to every day of the year, I am always looking to try different socks for cold weather that aren't to bulky, and without having to layer pairs.

The height and fabric weight of sox are great....the tops do not have enough stretch however.

Based on the one bad review posted when I purchased the socks I had my doubts but based on the quality of other products from Duluth I bought them anyway. I am very pleased with the socks. I wear them with my pac boots shoveling snow and they have kept my feet very warm. They do come up well over the calf and have an luxurious feel against the skin as opposed to the feel of wool. There is no sign of tearing at the toe as claimed by the other reviewer. I sent some to a friend as a Christmas gift I was so pleased with mine.
