Simple and just right

By Mike

Pros

  • Durable
  • Sized right

Cons

  • Versatile

Best Uses

  • Smallmedium Projects

Bought this for Disaster Service work where we don't need a full size bulky tool belt. Really like how the bags sit when attached to the velcro loops of the DT FireHose work pants. Typically, when connected to a work belt, the bags tilt forward a bit when sitting on a scaffolding or bench and may cause things to tip out. By using this with the velcro tabs of the work pants, it hangs a bit more comfortably

A simple clasp buckle belt comes with this and I am not sure if a click lock style buckle would work better, but the belt (if used with the bags connected without the velcro tabbed work pants) does work well as a light/medium duty belt

Terrific product

Pros

  • Interchangeable
  • terrific gift
  • Very sturdy

Cons

I love this kit. I hate to go back to the house or down to the barn for the tools I need, so I like to carry my tools around the ranch with me. But once they get set on the ground they get lost pretty quick! This kit keeps all the tools on the belt, and if you have the cargo pants, more tools can be tucked into the pockets. It's terrific. The knee pads slip right into the pockets, too, and so any on-the-ground tasks are no problem -- no more sore knees.

Knee pads are a better fit than the ones I paid $60 for, don't slip, and not too bulky.

        A must have

The knee pads are more comfortable than slip on or strapped pads. I wish the hammer loop was a part of the cargo pants, but the pockets are just right for projects around the house.
