TRAGIC TRASH

By magic2go

from New York

Pros

  • None

Cons

  • Many

Best Uses

  • Bottle opener

This is a terrible and impractical item. It is way way way too small. I am very agile and have great fine motor coordination, but this item is worthless. I have it on my keychain with the mindset of one day getting an ingenious idea on some way of making it practical. I wasted my $14 dollars + shipping. Don't fall for the same swindle!

Nice Design; Tough to Use

By Shadowy Figure 8

from Encinitas CA

Pros

  • Nice compact design

Cons

  • Hard to operate
  • Hard to remove
  • Hard to replace
  • Heavily Oversprung
  • Not Real Sharp

Best Uses

  • Bottlecaps
  • Screws

This tool has an interesting design, but I'm not sure how much use I'll be able to get out of it. My hands are large, but not that large. It appears to be less than 3 inches long, and is rather thin. First of all, to use the scissors, it has to be popped off the tiny connector to its tiny key ring by depressing an even tinier ball bearing (and the same to put it back). The scissors are heavily sprung, and it's tough to hold them in a cutting position without them just collapsing 90 degrees flat onto my fingers. (This is NOT like using Leatherman or Swiss Army Knife scissors.) It's also tough to compress them into a full cut without "choking up" all the way onto the scissor blades with my fingers, losing control of the cutting direction. On top of that, the blades don't seem to have been terribly well sharpened.
