        Comments about GateMouth Openface Bag:

The "Original" version of this bag was an excellent product. This "new" style is a piece of junk. BucketBoss should be ashamed. The picture Duluth shows in their catalog is the "OLD" style, it needs to be changed! This "new" version isn't worth [$]. The sides don't stand up on their own, its made from "weaker" material, and no longer has the exterior rubber bottom. A WASTE OF MONEY.

          Comments about GateMouth Openface Bag:

I was looking for a good bag to carry my home inspection tools around in. A rigger's bag is too big and I didn't need a machinist's either.
This bag is simple and adaptable for many different uses. It is well built and looks like it will be durable.

              Comments about GateMouth Openface Bag:

The tools I'm putting in this bag are the things I must have going back and forth to the office -- my agenda, important papers, lunch, knitting, bus pass, umbrella. It works great for this. The pockets hold things securely and I am not fumbling to open a briefcase when I need my bus pass or umbrella.

              Comments about GateMouth Openface Bag:

Very average quality. Not enough holders for general hand tools, especially in a balanced layout. More affordable models offered everywhere can work just as well, and some better. Rubber base is not a solid, thick one like on my older Irwin bag.

                Comments about GateMouth Openface Bag:

This bag is a very useful idea however it could be improved. Use it mostly to organize my car. It sits on the floor or on the passenger seat. Could be more stable. Bag tips over if not fully loaded. Side pocket should have cinch strap so you put a laptop in it securely. Smaller pockets should have box pleats for more usable room. Needs more dividers, only has 1 1/2 so half the bag cannot be divided. A removable cover would be nice, as well. Maybe even add an elastic water bottle pouch on one side.

                Comments about GateMouth Openface Bag:

I bought this to hold the tools I need during my summer cruise on our sailboat, and it has turned out to be a big help. The tough rubber base keeps it in place even during rough weather. The gentleman who said it no longer had the rubber base is seriously mistaken.

                  Comments about GateMouth Openface Bag:

I had one of these that did have the rubber bottom, and it was a great bag. Eventually the side pockets wore out and I ordered a new one to replace it. This bag no longer has a thick, rubber bottom but a flimsy thin shell that is a poor substitute. Don't be fooled by the listing - this bag is not what it used to be.
