I work for Greater Cleveland Habitat For Humanity and our winters can get very cold in Ohio. These pants were perfect for the days below zero and the durability of these pants are second to none. Would definitly recommend this to a friend.

My husband goes through regular jeans like crazy and I was tired of buying new ones all the time. I heard about these and thought I'd get some for my boys who work on the oil slope and are always fixing some new boy toy. My boys love them so I got some for my husband and now I can't get him out of them! Thank you the material holds up well, and they don't show stains. Also they love the fleece-lined ones too for hunting and riding on their 4 wheelers.

I bought a few pairs for work this winter (land surveying). NJ got one of the worst winters in years. These pants were amazing; like a force field against the cold. And comfortable too!

Comments about Men's Fleece-lined Fire Hose Work Pants:

I sell baked goods at an outdoor farmers market. These pants keep me warm all day. They cut the wind. They are flexible and easy to move in unlike other brands of high density pants i have tried. They have more pockets than i know what to do with. My only kvetch is they are cut so the waist is very high. I know this was the way pants were traditionally cut but I have spent so many years wearing lower cut jeans it feels funny.

Comments about Men's Fleece-lined Fire Hose Work Pants:

Nice enough to wear out to dinner, rugged enough for barn work. Deep, strong pockets with flaps that will keep your wallet secure in a crowd, or can be tucked out of the way if you don't feel the need for them. They aren't waterproof by any stretch, but they're treated with something (presumably silicon) that causes water to bead up. They'll keep you dry in a sprinkle, and they resist stains.

I wish they came in green, I'd wear them for hunting.

This guarantee used to be on the webpage, but when I ordered my most recent pair, I noticed that it was gone, I hope it still applies:

"WE DARE YOU TO WEAR 'EM OUT" GUARANTEE
If your Duluth Trading Fire Hose Work Pants ever let you down, fray, tear, rip or give out, send them back to us. No questions asked, we'll send you a brand spankin' new pair, and the shipping's on us."

Comments about Men's Fleece-lined Fire Hose Work Pants:

Here in the Philly suburbs, we had many days this winter where temps dropped to single digits. Not a problem for these pants. The fleece lining is so soft. I'm not a long johns wearer so it's my skin, my Buck Naked boxer briefs and these pants, and thats it. They are so warm and comfortable on those ridiculously cold days, indoors and out. My favorite part is getting into my truck in the morning and the 5 degree pleather doesn't even phase me. I'm not a sports guy, but if I was sitting in some aluminum bleachers with the cold metal trying to suck away my body heat, I'd definitely want these pants on.

Fire Hose Fleece vs Harbin Ice Festival

Comments about Men's Fleece-lined Fire Hose Work Pants:

Visited China's Harbin Ice Festival, high of 23F, low of -21F. Wore these most everyday as lower outermost layer combined with 3 Dog Fleece Thermals as inner layer. Alternating periods of activity (walking around, climbing stairs), then pausing to take photos (and longer pauses having my photo taken with numerous locals - bearded blonds seemingly a rare sight).

These helped keep me warm while stationary (kneeling to take photos, even sitting, literally, on blocks of ice). While heavy, they are not so bulky that I couldn't move. Appreciated the robustness of the firehose material (acting like a kid sliding down ice slides on my rear), it's capability to block wind, and the numerous pockets.

Comments about Men's Fleece-lined Fire Hose Work Pants:

These are wonderful pants for the cold winters we experience in the North Dakota oilfields. I have worn them down to -10 degrees without needing to put on my insulated bibs. I regularly have to kneel in the dirt and snow, and they don't get worn out in the knees like pants from other retailers.
I like them so much I bought a non-insulated pair for the summer.
The only problem that I have had with them is I was climbing over a barbed wire fence and tore them. But I don't think there is a material in existence that is going to stand up to barbed wire short of steel.
I only with they were FR rated so that I could wear them on oil well pads.
