COMMENTS:

The apron pockets are pretty good, compared to the competition. Just like some of the other reviews stated, if you keep screws in the mesh bottom pockets they're bound to get stuck. If you're like me, you'll just rip the stuck ones out pulling some fibers out with it. So only time will tell how long before they get a hole in them, but I do love that saw dust falls right though. The canvas material the apron is made out of seems very durable and I believe will last a long time. The biggest problem I have with the apron is with the straps. They are very flimsy and seems cheaply made. If you carry very much stuff in the pockets it pulls the front of the apron down and the straps slip through the front buckles. I had to pin mine in place. Not to mention it's not real comfortable. The shoulder straps could use a little padding. Trust me I'm not loading this thing down like a professional carpenter, just a hammer, nails/screws, pencil, phone, and a tape measure. I've found that if you run the waist strap through a belt loop or two it will help keep the neck strap from riding up and rubbing your neck raw. The fix would be to add suspenders like the other apron they sell. If that one had the pockets in the front I would of just bought that one from the get go. So my advice would be to buy a good tool belt with nice padded shoulder straps and buy the other apron to wear underneath it. I guess if you just got a quick job that only takes a couple hours this would work, but I definitely don't like wearing it all day! I love Duluth Trading, I'm sure they will take reviews like this and eventually make this apron great!

    COMMENTS:

Love the apron. It helps me keep everything right where I need it. My only issue is with the mesh bottom pockets. I wish the bottom of the pockets were made out of the same material as the apron. I use my apron for woodworking projects and screws tend to get caught in the webbing. Other than that, it's a great apron.

              COMMENTS:

I have had this shop apron for almost 2 years. It has held up well although there are some holes and tears in the apron. The pencil pockets are just too small for a carpenters pencil especially if you have a small metal ruler in the pocket behind it. The pocket behind the pencil pockets are useless nothing will fit in them if you have a pencil in the front. The hammer loops need to be positioned higher on the side of the apron. There has to be a better way to connect the straps to put this apron on. The straps are just to flimsy. They don't keep their shape and twist and knot up after a few uses. This would be a perfect apron if these few minor things were corrected.
