Men's Fire Hose Straight Shooter Vest

Love this vest. Great fit, tough canvas stands up to everything, but softens with wear; mine's already getting that "old friend" feel to it. The khaki goes with almost everything (but if you offered it in the same navy blue as the Firehose chinos, you'd have more sales!), so I even wear it to the office when I don't have to wear a suit--give me extra pockets for all the gear I have to carry around.
It's also a nice, light, "extra layer" on those days when it's not cool enough for a sweater or jacket, but it's too cool for just shirtsleeves. Now, if I can just get it in blue...

I wear this for work and here in Tucson, it's well accepted.

We gave this vest as a Christmas gift to my father-in-law. He actually got two types of vests for Christmas, but this was the one that really caught his attention. The material and styling were perfect. He immediately tried it on, loved the fit and wore it for a while. The other vest was still in the box.

I use this vest all the time for going to town, working outside or staying warm in the house. It is very versatile and the fabric is flexible. I thought fire hose might be stiff but, it is not. Like it so much I ordered the fire house jacket too. Good rugged products.

used for outside work, plus casual wear-both indicate a well-made product. one caveat, if you please: velcro closings on all pockets.

A nice looking, rugged, extra layer without being bulky or too warm.

Makes a nice finishing touch to any casual outing.

Excellent material, seems like it will hold up to rugged use and still shine; however top button came off in my hand the first time I tried to button it----a serious fault at this price level, in my view.

I love this product.. it is comfortable and looks stylish, and it easily covers my gun (CCW), the pockets are nice and it adds another layer for cooler weather. I am a vest wearer, and was very excited when I received it. Wore it a couple times and loved it.

Then I washed it, read the directions on the tag, ( I washed it by itself) buttoned the buttons, washed cold dried cold.. pulled it out.. and noticed the top button and bottom button had come off in the wash. I was not very happy

next time I will put in in a delicates bag or leave it un buttoned. I think that having it buttoned put too much extra stress on those buttons.
