Comments about Fire Hose Work Cargo Pants:

These are some serious pants for serious people. I was wearing these at work and took a busted pallet to the knee. It hurt a bunch and I didn't think anything of it, until my boss told me I had blood dripping onto my boot. I checkede my pants and they weren't ripped, but I had a nice gash in my knee. These pants are awesome!

i am a plumber, and i need a tough pair of work outfits, and they do the job perfectly, the knee pad pockets are a real plus.
i had my three pairs for 3 years and they are still in great condition. they have soften up and are just great to wear all day.
what can say, these are a good pair of pants

    knee pads way too high

    By tall and skinny

    Pros

    • Breathable
    • High-Quality Material and Stitching

    Cons

      Best Uses

Comments about Fire Hose Work Cargo Pants:

I use them all the time, but the reason I got them was the integrated knee pad. Although it is better than my home made options, and the design is quite good, it seems the pad was placed to high for manufacturing convenience not function/fit. Maybe next year this will be fixed and I will replace my current version. Next time I will be more careful about trying them on for useful fit. Still like them though.

Best Trousers I've ever purchased bar none! Reinforced at all the right points, and made of some very durable fabric. Plus cargo pockets that actually work. I like em so much I've already ordered a second pair, with more to follow.

Comments about Fire Hose Work Cargo Pants:

Was tired of replacing my jeans every 6 months due to wearing out at pocket corners and overall pants seem to be getting cheaper made materials. Its no joke that these pants are tought and the workmanship is excelent wish I found them sooner as I was buying new jeans every 5 to 6 months $25-$30 a piece and these while more expensive are wearing so well they still look new I wont need to replace them for a long time. Will be ordering a few more pairs soon. Get a pair you will never go back!!

Going from Modesto to Denver, I had plenty of room for "carry-on" stuff in my pockets, and to go from 65 degrees to 33 degree, I was comfortable the whole way. I am delighted by these pants.Only thing, but not realy a problem, My cat loves to lay in my lap now.
These pants go well with my new cowl sweater I bought from Duluth also. Grear gear. Thanks!

Comments about Fire Hose Work Cargo Pants:

This was my first purchase from Duluth. I'm HOOKED!
I absolutely love these pants... As soon as I wore them to work, I went online the next day to purchase more. Unfortunately they were only available in black. I was hoping to buy several different colors. Instead i bought some other styles. I like them a lot too. but these are my favorite. I will buy another pair or two in black if necessary. The insertable knee pads. (I also purchased) are priceless. NICE TOUCH! Great for working around the house, on the car, etc. As well as my employer.

              Optional Knee Pads?

              • No Kneepads included

              Best Uses

              • Work pants

Comments about Fire Hose Work Cargo Pants:

Bought these pants soley for the kneepad pockets and was less than satisfied by the following two facts:
              1. Kneepads are not included in the already high price of the pants, and, similar, higher quality/lower price pads are available at local hardware stores. Also, catalog list pads as "replacement" which implies that pants already come with knee pads. The word "optional" or phrase "sold seperately" are conspicuously absent from the catalog and website, yet would be a nice addition.
              2. Kneepad pockets are not low enough. When kneeling, my knee only sits on the bottom 1" edge of the 6" kneepad and velcro seam. This is not enough coverage for my already-sensitive knees and should be at least 2" lower.

              - The pants I got are 34" inseam. I wonder if the kneepad location on 36" inseam pant is the same distance from the crotch or bottom of the pant leg. (Well customer service, is it?)
