Thought it would be a good workshop stool, but it isn't. Is not very stable and is very uncomfortable. Seat is way too small and irritating.

I have a lower back condition called Lumbar
Stenosis. This makes standing for even just a few minutes quite painful. The walk stool gives me the option to sit when in a long line, at the airport for example. The taller 30" model is much easier to get off of when it is time to move on. Well made, light weight and with two seat heights,the walk stools are the best i have found. There are two things to be aware of how ever. The legs will slide out of the retracted position if the stool is not in the bag and the leg locking mechanism can be a bit sticky.

I am 6"9" and use my Walkstool for duck and dove hunting? I need to be able to sit comfortably for a long time but be able to jump up instantly for a shot. This stool is awesome. I do wish that they would make the legs adjustable.

The Walk stool is a super additon to my music equipment for doing small engagemensts (all I have done with it so far) and quick rest breaks when out and about. I purchased it with the idea of lightening my load when arriving and setting up as well as striking and reloading - I bought the 30" model and I find it a bit awkward to take a seat on it with a guitar strapped on - I may have been better served if it were 28" however when in the midst of playing and singing it is (to me) the ideal height to maximize my breath control and allows for easy playing of my guitars. For the record, I am disabled with bad knees and lower back issues and about 300 lbs, and I feel totally comfortable and secure using this product.

Since I am 5' 11", 26" stool is too low. This stool is somewhat too high, but with a small amount of change (drilling holes at about 28") this stool is perfect for my needs.

As a 72 year old with excess pounds, it becomes more difficult to stand for long, so this stool extends my time outside!

The Walk stool is easy to carry around, sets up easily and has a sturdy base. The extra height save on lower back strain.

It is well constructed and worked great fully extended. However, the way advertised it sounded like a intermediate height and there isn't. I am a senior so closed all the way doen't work to be able to sit on like the manufactor suggested. That is why only 4 stars instead of 5

The Walkstool is user friendly but you have to figure out how to straddle it initially . For folks like me with ample buttocks ,seating could be wider . It is a life saver on the feet when hanging at the garage with the fellas . I have two ,one in each truck .
